How to Keep Your Feet Healthy?


Foot is one of the most important body parts that provide the foundation for balance and stability. It is therefore important to take care of the feet so that they do not hurt anyone ever.

On an average, a person takes about ten thousand steps daily. But if one does not take care of the feel then he or say may suffer from some common foot problems including nail fungus, and heel pain, to name but a few. On the other hand, if a diabetic get foot infection then that may lead to high blood sugars, which can delay the healing process and may further lead to ulcers.

One can avoid several foot related problems by taking some precautions.

· First of all, one needs to use an acetone-free remover to wipe off old nail polish.

· After that, soak your feet in lukewarm water for about 5 to 10 minutes. Half cup Epsom salt can also be added to the lukewarm water for effective result. Dry the feet.

· Rub the skin using a pumice stone in a circular fashion.

· File your toenails using an emery board.

· Wash the feet with lukewarm water.

· To prevent drying and cracking – rub nails and cuticles with oils.

· To polish nails – use a nail polish that is free from dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, and formaldehyde.

· Always use high-quality foot lotion to massage the feet and relax.

If you use the above tips at least once in a month then you can definitely stay away from foot problems, always.
