Garlic is a natural medicine, which has been utilized by people from historical times. Garlic’s reputation did not develop without reasons. Garlic has got many vigorous sources of protection for humans. Garlic not only helps fight against bloody-fanged challenging, it is also used against infections, asthma, high blood pressure, arthritis, and some forms of cancer.

Garlic contains a number of Sulfur containing compounds that are advantageous in many ways including:
Cardiovascular health: Garlic contains various sulfur containing compounds including allicin, polysulfides, and ajoene have been found to be beneficial in minimizing unwanted contraction of blood vessels, promote blood vessel dilation, regulates the stickiness of blood platelets and protect the blood vessel walls from damage.
Protects from Infection: Garlic is very effective against yeast infection. Historical evidences have also shown that garlic had been used for different kinds of infections for centuries. Ancient Greeks would use for treating parasites, and Romans would use it for the treatment of smallpox, and other infections.
Against cancer: Many evidences have shown that garlic containing sulfides contribute to minimize the risk of cancers such as colorectal and renal cancer.

The recipe of garlic mashed egg plant
· 1 round egg plant (big size)
· 1 Tsp olive oil
· Chopped onion
· Chopped garlic
· Salt
Boil the egg plant (Brinjal) first till it becomes soft and the outer skin becomes feeble. Peel off the skin and mash the egg plant. Add chopped onion, garlic, and salt to taste. Now heat the olive oil and pour it to the mashed egg plant and mix it well. You are done.
